I gave the "Navigator" a go for the first time today on my way to work just to see how it performs and I have a few questions:
1. It took about 5 minutes to establish a GPS fix, despite doing ironass' tip. Admittedly I didnt bother with taking the sim out so not sure if this is important? and i was a little confused if the sim should remain out when performing the download within the GPS Status app? Are there any other ways to get a quicker satellite fix?
2. I only went about 10 miles and according to my data usage widget, that consumed about 2Mb of data. Is this normal/reasonable? This seems quite a lot to me.
3. I'm using the stock SatNav (Navigator). Is this thought to be the best one to use or is there a better (free) option I should consider?
