I work for a school district and we are going to be bringing in some Xooms to put in the classroom for the kids to use. Due to the number of devices that we are bringing in and the limited tech staff that we have our plan for troubleshooting the Xooms will be to just factory reset them. The issue we are running into at this moment is if we do this how do we get the apps back on the device.
I know that now days most of the apps out there are saved to the sd card. I was wondering if it would be possible to copy all of the apps onto another sd card before resetting it and then copy them back after the reset to get the apps back on the device.
If this won't work does anyone have any other good ideas as for how to quickly "re-image" these devices so that we don't have to re download and install tons of apps each time?
