Help Save apps ???

There an option in which the phone syncs with Gmail or something so i dont have to find my apps every time i reinstall the phone software.
it takes about half hour to find all the apps then about an hour to install them all cant i save them somewhere.
i know there is an app to do this but that means i have to backup the list every time i install a new app.

the only way i know of backing up apps is to use titanium backup, but phone has to be rooted to use, as t/b requires superuser permissions
