Help Saved Pics/File Location

NolePhin

Newbie
Hey guys, I am new to Android phones, the HTC Inspire 4G being the first Android device I own for about a week now. Still learning the system so I have a couple questions for you Android experts.

First, when I save a picture I find browsing on the web, where does it save to? I've been looking through the phone and I can't find it.

Also, I connected my phone to my desktop to drag and drop a file into the media>audio folder. Because the file was a video I decided to make a video folder inside the media folder. I drag and dropped the video file into the video folder I just created. It looks like it went through fine, I just don't know where to look for it on my phone.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello NolePhin.

You can do a search in your phone on the file names you download, or you can do that on your computer with your USB cable attached.

Usually when you download something, your phone will typicalls create a folder called simply "download." You should be able to find things there, leave it in place and all new stuff should be there.
As for videos, they should just be in your regular gallery. You should have a sub folder in there called Video. And try an app called Quickpic, it's far superior to the stock gallery. Hope this helps!
