Saving Attachments via Text

I downloaded an app for saving attachments that were sent to me via email, but I recently received one via text msg that I can't seem to find a way to save to my gallery. Or even to forward to email. Do I need another app for this? And if so, which app does everyone recommend for my Epic 4G?

For me all pictures that I receive in a text show up in the gallery and the DCIM folder. It should go there by default.

I just tried this on my phone... Long press on the pic/video/etc message. (Message Options) Hit Attached items. Check the photo(s) etc you want to save, hit SAVE. They will show up under the Download folder in the Gallery...

No need for any special app...
