Saving Contacts

to Sim Phone or Google? What does everyone do and why? Does it really matter? I went with google but not sure if thats the best route.
 
Saving to Google allows you to always have a back up of your contacts, and you are able to edit them from a computer as well. The other nice thing is if you get a new phone for some reason, as soon as you sign in to your google account with the phone you will have access to your contacts.
