Help Saving photo from email

I cannot for the life of me save a photo I received in an email. I get to the sharing window, but no save. I have tried everything that has always worked on my other 10 phones! I hold my finger on the pic and nada! This CANT be this difficult!! BTW, I have an Inspire 4G

Are you using the stock email app?
I haven't really used the stock email app since I have always used k-9 on my phones

k-9 I think is way better than the stock app and easier to use once setup. For pics in k-9 once the pic is downloaded to the email there are 2 buttons next to the photo open or save.


Edit: wait i think i remember answering this in another thread. After you download and open the photo to look at it when you then go to your gallery is it in there? I believe once you have downloaded it the phone automatically saves it.

Im just using my regular yahoo account. I DID see it in my gallery at one point, but its not there anymore....very strange. Anyway at no time have I been able to find a "Save" option.

Guessing you are using the stock gallery as well. That like to play hide and seek with the pics from time to time. I would recommend using quickpic if you aren't already and see if those pics show up then.

Sent another pic and realized that I never had the download arrow on the first pic! Just the paper clip for attachment. This one I sent had the download arrow and let me do just that! Weird but I should be OK. Maybe the first just got weird in the transition. Thanks!!
