My friend's phone is a Moto G 5 g. He wants to do some things with it but barely knows the basics. How does he save photos to his googoo account via wifi? I would probably advise against this sort of thing, but...I tried to help and didn't get far. He is currently using wifi only and is trying to back up with Photos but it keeps showing that regular stuff that comes with a carrier. I don't see any options for wifi.

Saving Photos over wifi

just make sure he has google photos. it should automatically back up his photos. he can verify this by hopping onto his computer and go to Google Photos: Edit, Organize, Search, and Backup Your Photos and sign in.....his photos should be there.

My three moto cell phones are usually the wifi is in the drop down in the upper left hand corner., Should automatically save them, tell them do not touch the photos and it snaps to his google photos account.
