Saving picture as wallpaper

I'm having trouble saving a picture as wallpaper. I'm long pressing on the image, hitting set as wallpaper, cropped it...and it gives me the message:

"The picture has been set as your wallpaper"

Then it defaults back to the default wallpaper setting that comes with the phone and will NOT change. WTF??

Reboot usually works for me.

Thanks, it worked...that's annoying though...reset after each wallpaper is applied :-\

I've only had to do it once, actually. I don't think you have to do it every time. If you do, then there might be something wrong...a funky app or something.
