Help Saving Picture Message

Hi. I'm new to android. Just got the Ascend from cricket. I'm having trouble saving pictures from picture messages. in the messaging screen i touch the picture and the screen kind of flashes but won't take me to the screen to pause picture..please help. thanks

you just touch the picture it should bring you to a new screen and then touch it again, and on the bottom will be a pause button, then all you have to do is press and hold and it should come up with save picture

in the txt stream itself you can touch and hold the pic and a window will open, select the option to "save attached to SD card"

or there is always the app

SaveMMS

it'll save any and every pic or video you get. Just open the app and it'll have all the media right there. You don't have to press anything and the files will be in a folder on your phone too.
