Help Saving Pictures to your phone??

Byrus

Newbie
If I recieve a picture by email how can I save it to my phone? when I click "menu" only 3 options come up: Share, Set As and Details.
The "Set As" option only lets me save it to a contact, as a Footprint or as Wallpaper. I don't believe any of these let me save it to the phone so I can look at them while viewing the rest of my pictures.

Thanks.

Thanks. Maybe I just need a better file manager. Now when I save the jpeg pictures the phone says no known application and can't open them. So frustrating.

I am opening from emails (they're just attachments). I really want them in the "camera shots" folder so I can just flip through them on the widget that I have on my home screen.

Any way to do that? Or am I doing this completely wrong?

I'm usually pretty tech savy but for some reason I can't get this to work!

Thanks again.

Instead of looking at the widget, have you actually looked to see if the pictures show in the gallery?

You are absolutely correct, they are in the gallery. Any way to move them to the camera shots widget?

Thanks!

Probaby the easiest way to move them is to mount your phone as a disc drive to your computer and move it from the download folder to the dcim/100media folder - or whereever your camera shots are stored. They should then show up in your widget. :)
