Root Saving progress in a game after data wipe?

When switching from ROM to ROM I usually wipe my data and cache so I lose all my apps and progress in games. Is tere anyway to retain my progress in let's say, angry birds after a data wipe?

back it up in tibu before flashing....

then restore app + app data after flashing the rom in tibu

i do it all the time

I've been flashing ROM's since January with my original droid and haven't used TiBu I will finally use it. Thanks.
