tried mobilo ringtone app .after choosing one for my notifications of sms and email they work fine .i shut off my phone at night and when i turn it back on they are gone .also when i choose one it asks only to make it my default ringtone . how do i use one for sms and email and get it to stay ?

op did you ever figure this out? i have a friend having the same issue.
It's because the app doesn't seem to be placing the tones into the correct folder. The ones should be placed in media/audio/ringtones, .../.../notifications, or .../.../alarms as applicable.
If you use Ringdroid, it will automatically place the file into the correct folder.

Yeah, sounds like the files aren't being placed in the correct directory for the phone to recognize.
All my ringtones (via Ringdroid) are placed in /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones
