Them getting it and us getting it have nothing to do with each other. It's in At&t decision when and IF we get it. I wouldn't get too excited.

You weren't alone in this question.
It is the newest version of the Android OS. It is a unified and improved version for both tablets and phones. It has some very nice optimizations in it and it tries to unify some aspects of the UI. Some people really like it and some think it's too minimal. In any case the official update for the AT&T SGS2 is not out yet and most likely won't be seen until the summer (<= That's just a guess, don't hold me to it.)
