Help Says SD CARD mounted.. even though I don't have one?

Newbie
Title self explanitory. On apps such as root explorer, it says I have all these apps on my 'SD card', and to mount and unmount it, and when i press it, it indeed says i have mounted and unmounted my card. In titanium back up, it says I have 12 gigs on my SD card. It's so weird. I also have been having issues with installing on the market, and a lot of people say its got to do with the SD card. Yet, I don't have one? I also have been told that before I could even take pics I had to have an SD card. I have taken hundreds of pics and I don't have one. Someone help me, what the heck! Using a samsung galaxy s2. Thanks.

The S2 comes with 32 GB of internal memory, which frankly is a ridiculous amount for Android's system. Most phones with large internal memory will partition the space into a system partition, usually about 2 GB (but that will depend on the model) and partition the rest to mount in /sdcard/ which Android sees as a MicroSD card. Additionally you can put an extra MicroSD card in the slot for another 32 GB of storage if you'd like.

What type of Market issues have you been having?

Its your internal memory its just split up into different roots: sdcard, system rom and internal. Internal is where your apps get stored, system rom is where your rom is stored and sdcard is where other things go like music, pictures and videos etc.
