Root SBF Question

Hey Guys,

Couple questions I have to get answered today before I go ahead and sbf my phone to get the ota update.

1st - Right now im on 2.3.15, so which sbf files do i need to use to get back to stock so i can do the ota??

2nd - When i do the ota to the newest update that has been put out i am able to still root the x and slap on fission rom correct?

3rd - while im asking all these questions, anyone know of a good gingerbread theme for the fission 2.4??

Rootzwiki has the SBF your looking for and links to drivers and RSD program youll need
I used z4root to root my phone once I was on the OTA. it worked perfectly

yes, thats why I linked it to there for you lol. the file is called "the gift 2" unzip it, open the folder, and youll have your gift inside

thanks so much. also ive never really sbf'ed before when i do this it will be like having a stock dx out of the box??

and its not gonna touch my sd card correct??

follow these directions and you will be back to like new (id say new like from the box but it depends on when you got your phone)
and as long as you follow these instructions, no your sd card should not be touched
