Help scanning square barcodes

Has anyone had any luck scanning the square barcodes on print-ads that are supposed to take you to a website for more information? I downloaded the Microsoft version from the app market and I have yet to get it to scan anything....What am I doing wrong?

The App "Barcode Scanner" is perfect for scanning all barcodes, give it a try.

I have the barcode scanner too, and I can not get it to scan a matrix type barcode either.....

I have no problem using barcode scanner for QR's (square barcodes) but if you are, give shopsavvy a try.

Not all barcodes can be read from my experience.

I seem to have issues scanning barcodes (with barcode scanner) as well. I dont know why, but it takes a few tries for it to scan anything, I thought the camera button would force a scan but that didn't work so eventually I just gave up.

Bringing up something past here. I cant find the regular nfl fantasy app on marketplace and when i search with barcode scanner it gives it something that market comes up and says not found. Anybody have any ideas?
