Help Schedule Text Message on a Galaxy S4

Hello, I figured out how to schedule a text message on my S4. However, I have a friend who has an S4 on Verizon and this feature isn't the same on mine.

How do I make this work on an S4 for Verizon? Is this functionality even there?

It works fine on my phone but it's not on Verizon. Does his phone not use the Samsung stock SMS app?

If it doesn't, there are alternatives such as Go SMS Pro, that allow you to send a scheduled message.

Yes, it works fine on my S4 with sprint as well. I'm assuming that the software on the S4 for verizon is different?
