Score: Droid 1, iPhone 1

It will be interesting when the IPhone finally does come to Verizon.

Then the proof will be in the pudding.

Will more people buy the IPhone on Verizon, or will more people by an Android on Verizon.

If it were today, I'd buy the Droid(which I did back in Nov). But, after the IPhone-4 comes out(assuming on Verizon), we'll have to re-compare.

More people choose Windows over Linux but it doesn't make Windows better than Linux.

So my Brother has an iPhone, and has had it for several years. Now that I have a Droid, we tend to check each others phones out. the score for this weekend -

Droid - 1 - for "My Tracks" - my Bro really wishes for something as good for his iPhone. But apperently, google and apple don't get along? too bad for him....

iPhone 1 - for 3g - we were at our fishing cabin this weekend, which is out in BFE. I had one bar of 1x, Bro had 3g. It's the Map, right? Fail...

Well, google and apple don't get along that well, that's true (mostly because apple is mean to google when all google wants to do is make good applications available so apple denies google's apps from their store >.<)

Anyways, I'll just say it's not likely that you will find a lot of locations that AT&T has good coverage and Verizon does not. As a previous poster said already, you must have found one of the few spots like this lol..

I will say, the only time I have ever seen an AT&T phone have service when a VZW one did not was when a Fiber Optic cable in Madison WI was cut during construction knocking Alltel's entire network in the Upper Peninsula and northern WI offline as well as all the universities in the UP, other than that, I have never seen an ATT phone getting better service.

They never minded each other before, but Steve Jobs threw a hissy fit when he found out Google was developing a better phone OS than the one they had.

I think Apple's UI on the iPhone/Touch is much smoother and more intuitive than Android. The only problems I would have with iPhone on Verizon is the lack of a physical keyboard and having no option to use extra batteries. As long as the Droid offers these and iPhone does not, I would probably stick with the Droid. Should Apple offer an iPhone model (on Verizon) that includes a physical keyboard and removable battery, I would be very tempted to go that way.

It doesn't help their "oh man this thing is so thin and sexy you want it don't you huh huh huh?" thing. So it probably won't be happening.
