Screen artifact from virtual buttons

I read a lot of Kindle books on my Nexus so my screen is on for hours at a time. I have noticed a slight blue shading on the left side of the screen when the phone is held in landscape mode with the usb port held to the left so that the virtual buttons move to the right or "top" of the phone. I guess my normal mode of holding the phone while reading has been either portrait or landscape with the usb end held to the right so that the virtual buttons have mostly been on the "bottom" end of the screen. I've started trying to alternate how I hold the phone when in landscape mode to minimize this but it's not going away. It's very faint right now and not a big deal but I'm wondering how it will look several months from now. Anyone else notice this?

I have the exact same burn-in or "ghosting" at the top (from the notification bar).. noticeable when browsing full-screen. I believe it's just one of the drawbacks of AMOLED technology which is relatively new. I'm sure it will improve though and it doesn't really bother me. No way around it really (not that I know of). I'm also pretty sure it will get worse over time, but by the time it's really noticeable and annoying I'll have the new Nexus or something. Maybe I'll try sending it in before the right before the warranty expires too (I did that with 3 iPhones that I've had and always got new ones back a couple days before the warranty expired then sold them as brand new).
