Hi there. New to these forums, and I know how old hands at forums hate newbies posting repeat threads, so if this question has already been asked and answered elsewhere, I apologise for the inconvenience, and please just link me to there.
Basically, had me Nexus S for a few months now. Love it, apart from the battery life. Now I know the display is one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) component of the phone that eats up battery life. My problem is that my Nexus S's screen refuses to stay in locked/powered off mode. I have a pattern code to unlock the phone, so I lock it, the screen turns off, and in between about five and fifteen seconds later, the screen will automatically turn on again for no reason. I've tried everything, from deleting most of the apps that didn't come stock standard on the phone, turning off GPS, telling the facebook app not to keep checking, etcetera, but it keeps happening.
My phone is under warranty still, and if this is a problem that only I'm having, I'll send it back to them... but at the same time, I'd prefer not to bugger around doing that if there's another way. Would a factory reset be something to try? And if not, can anyone think of anything else that might help?
Thanks for any and all responses in advance guys =)
