Help Screen Blinking

I just bought the HTC ONE M8 2 days ago and i noticed when I click on some icons to open it ( Like The Tv & Gallery ) the screen is blinking for a second

Is this normal ?

If you bought the phone used or open box (but new) someone may have turned that on.

That's for developers to get confirmation of touch actions and ought never be on for a normal user.

If you have a "Developer options" under your main settings, it's probably that.

If you do, make sure that input options shown here are unchecked and everything under advanced is unchecked. Or, at the top right, just turn it all off.



You may need to reboot for the changes to take effect, sorry, I don't remember.
