Screen Brightness and your life

Auto. Battery lasts all day, every day so no worries. Have a charger at work and in my car, just in case.

auto brighness is a drain on the battery. Its constantly in check with the light sensor to adjust the brightness. I always use a quarter brightness. If I need to I can adjust with the widget, but i rarely need to adjust

Doubtful that's accurate and doubt the drain is significant in any way.

If there's a little extra drain, it's probably worth it, to me, anyhow.

I get great battery life with auto on. I can't even find the adjustment outdoors with brightness at 1/4. Just way too much trouble. I find the less you screw with these settings the better battery life you get. Motorola has done a good job with battery optimization.

I use auto, unless I'm outdoors and need to kick the brightness up for the camera, or to see something because of glare.
