Help Screen burn-in possible?

Last night I burned-in my Evo's screen! I fell asleep playing a game which doesn't sleep the screen, so it was on a stats screen all night. This game (Big Win Hockey) is pretty processor intensive so the phone tends to get hot while it is running, even when on that stats screen.

So I woke up and noticed that there was a ghost image on my screen. It especially showed up on textured grey backgrounds (such as the amazon appstore app). It has faded a bit so far today, but it's definitely still there. So bummed.

I am optimistic that over time it will fade out, but I'm not sure how. Anyone know anything I could do to try to resolve it? Anyone else get burned?

Power it down fully for an extended period of time, like a few hours.
It won't get rid of it, but will be helpful to 'reset' - If only you could pull the battery and cut all electricity.

One night of burn in should likely work itself out in normal everyday use. If not you can try displaying a clean white screen for a few hours. Or there are some applications on the market like these (May or may not work, use at your own risk)

You could even try a LCD/Plasma TV burn in fix DVD. Usually looping snow/static video is the fix on these DVD's. Find a video of static or rip the DVD to your computer and edit together a video file with the video repeating over and over for a few hours length. Transfer to your phone and let it play for a few hours.
