Help Screen capture after update? (4.0.4)

My SGS 2 just had an update to 4.0.4 and now the screen capture does not work (vol down + lock button)

Has this feature been lost, has the button combo changed or is my phone just f*****d again?

All that happens when i press the above combo is either the volume goes down or the device restart menu pops up, have tried dozens of times now and nothing...

Press Volume Down button & the Power Button at the SAME time to take a screenshot on Android 4.0 ICS. The screenshot will be added to the /sdcard/Pictures/Screenshots folder.

I know how to do it as it worked fine until the latest update, now it does not work.

I've taken many screen captures with this phone, but since the update it does not work.

Ok it seems the bottom combo has changed on the 4.0.4 update.

You now have to press the HOME BUTTON + LOCK SCREEN BUTTON

It either brings up a task manager or locks the screen, No snapshot

To take a screen shot, you must now HOLD the VOLUME DOWN button and the POWER BUTTON..it takes about 2 seconds and you'll hear the click..hope this helps!

Using the home button and the power button does work.
You do have to be super careful to press them together at exactly the same time though and then hold them both for a second or two.
I hope they don't change the combo again!

Thank you so much for your post. I was able to capture screen by simultaneously pressing home and power button and holding them together for few seconds.
