Root Screen Capture

What do you recommend for a screen capture app?

Any that use the trackpad button to take the shot? Seems like that would be perfect.
 
Just don't forget to go back and turn it off when you finish. I did once and had some lovely pics of the weather widget.

I forget to turn it off all the time. I've got all kinds of random screenshots saved up :)

Seriously that app is so smooth you forget its even running. :cool:
 
Ok so I was looking for a software or some way to do this and was glad to find this thread but didn't know...u have to be "rooted" to use it? If so, is there another way to take screen shots?

yes but its a pain in the but... there is no app that can do it without root and i would have to find the step by step guide

Well I know I'm going to sound like a SERIOUS newbie but, 1) I don't want to void my warranty 2) Seems way too technical 3) Besides a very few things, like the whole screen capture issue, what I need is covered by what the phone comes with.

Most ppl who I find that ROOT, are very much involved in changing their phones and I'm not trying to sound mean but, are "tech freaks," so rooting is beneficial to them bc they can then make the phone do all the gadgety COOL things! :-)
 
well im a tech freak and i sure everyone on this forum is as well... and rooting does make the phone do wonders
 
I did it for wireless tether mostly, I was a first time root, took 10 mins. But once your rooted you can do so much more stuff. :D
