Screen Contour and Screen Protector Compatability

I bought the Rearth Ringo screen protector and was really happy with it except fpr one big problem. The edge of the protector did not adhere to the screen, leaving lip around the the screen where dust can get in. I started looking for another protector on Amazon and I noticed that one manufacturer deliberately makes their protector too small because of the curved glass. One reviewer suggested that a protector that covers the full screen wasnt possible because of the screen contour.

The glass has such a gentle contour that im surprised it.makes any difference at all. Does the countour really prohibit a full cover screen protector from adhereing to the edge of the screen?

what i heard was that it's too hard for dry applying protectors. Wet applying ones are relatively better fit.
