Screen coruption following ics update

grmln

Newbie
ever since i updated to ics almost 2 weeks ago i got screen corruption 2 times...happened when the display was switched off and a call came...the screen would go all fuzzy with lot of squiggly lines like an old tv set...it sorted itself out when i switched the screen off and switched it back again...
heard its bug in ics...
is this true?
did anybody else experiance this?
and is there anyway to solve it?

thanks

Nope, not seen that.

I have recently noticed that the Note can wait for a long time when, say, tapping on the stock web browser icon. I think this has something to do with using the power saving option accessible on the status bar. If I fiddle with the home button sometimes the screen will go blank temporarily. It's only happened a couple of times though.

I have had this exact problem, it looks like a broken TV set and in the post below i detail other problems that i've had before reverting back to Gingerbread.

I agree with Ian chances are ppl having issues are doing something wrong. I've updated 3 different Android devices to ICS and had absolutely no problems where others complain about things not working and battery life being drastically diminished. As far as the battery life it will increase with use, hell even on Gingerbread on my GALAXY NOTE that I got on the weekend I noticed that the battery has lasted longer and longer each time I charge and use it. - KID ANDROID

Im too Expereince this problem.. This is hell bad.. why dont samsung just push the stock firmware instead of modding it with their launcher....

other than this my experiance has been fairly ok...initaially the battery life was really bad...but i risked a factory reset after that battery life has improved...not upto my GB level but satisfactory...but bcos of the bugs in ics i woudnt advise a factory reset...lol its just tht the poor battery life pushed me to adopt extreme measures
