Help Screen dims but phone doesn't lock

Isn't the phone supposed to dim the screen then lock if I don't touch it for a while?

Seems like it works sometimes, or works for a while then doesn't, and if I reboot the phone it starts working again for a while.

The screen dims pretty quickly if no activity but it just stays dim and never locks...

No, I don't have any apps installed that auto light the screen or have anything to do with the screen or notifications.

Do you have the lock timeout set correctly? Mine will lock after 15 minutes of inactivity so I don't have to unlock the phone if I just briefly put it away for a second.

Where is lock time out setting? Don't see anything called lock time out (Verizon).

I have screen time out set to 15 seconds (which works like it is supposed to). Screen dims in 15 seconds but it does not lock the phone (sometimes it does, sometimes not).

I have Settings, Security, Screen Lock, Choose Lock screen: no security/no lock screen/face/pattern/pin/password. I have this set to "no security".

Nothing called "Lock phone after".

I have NEVER used any security screen. This problem just started happening recently. It actually does lock immediately after dimming (for most of the day). Then it will get into some weird/buggered mode where it stops working correctly. The screen will sit there dimmed at 5% forever. Then if I reboot the phone, it works fine again for a while.... repeat

I think I accidentally resolved this issue. I was playing around with Blink Feed to see if I could completely disable/remove it. Turns out when you disable and uninstall Blink Feed the phone wipes out all your home screen apps and widgets. I have not had a problem since sorting out Blink Feed and putting back all my home screen apps/widgets...
