Help Screen dims when using browser

Why does the screen dim when I go from any app to the browser?

Do you have power saver mode enabled? If you go into the settings it will give you the option to "Change background color to save power in Internet"

I'd assume the color white (-most web page backgrounds) draws a lot of power

That is very curious, candreas.
I must admit that I have not heard of this issue on the Note 2.
Have you tried calling the service provider and asking for a technician?
Often they can talk you through some troubleshooting tips that will help work out the issue.

Guys, the browser (assuming we're talking about the built-in version) has it's own brightness setting. I'd wager that's the problem.

Why does the screen dim when I go from any app to the browser?

I found an item in CW Browser settings called night mode. I removed the check and the display stopped dimming when I use the browser. I hoper this helps.
