Help Screen disappears too quick

How do I make the screen stay on longer, while I am on a call? Sometimes an automated call will tell me to push a number on my phone, and the screen has disappeared.

Also, the scroll button will stay lit sometimes, even though no notifications are listed.

I use a combination of 'screebl', which keeps the screen turned on when it's being held upright and 'proximity sensor', which covers up the screen when the phone is held to your ear.
