Help Screen doesn't light up when receive msg

Is it normal for this phone to not light up wen receiving a sms our has mine gone weird

Mine certainly does light up....I think it always has.

i was afraid of that i do have apps like lockbot and adw on my phone one of them might be doing it, oh well there are apps to force it to still light up lol

tried unistalling apps that would most likly affect this function didnt help things would most likly have to do a fresh install to fix it and i cbf doing that, luckily i remembered i have tasker so i just made it do it
