Screen flush with frame?

So my first nexus 7 tablet shattered and had to get another one. I bought the exact same kind. Nexus 7 32g. But I noticed this one is a little different, the screen is slightly lower than the white frame, fingernail gets caught. My first nexus 7, frame and screen were flush. What is normal? How flush is yours and does it even matter? Thanjs

Not sure if it matters, but mine screen is slightly lower than the frame too. It spends all its time in a case so I don't really notice it. I've never had any problems with mine (touch wood) so even if it's not by design, I'm not overly fussed by it.

I just checked Mrs Presidentes and hers is exactly the same too.

Mine actually was lifting a little. Before I busted mine. I'm actually buying an 8GB one off ebay, then swapping the internals from my 16GB into it. cheaper than buying a new 16GB, and cheaper than buying a replacement screen.

Only matters if it bothers you. If it does return it for a new one. Mine sits flush btw.
