Screen Freezing

[bp418220]

Hi

Please excuse my ignorance if this sounds a really stupid question - as i bought a desire hd and its my first smartphone. The problem im getting is that when trying to flick between the home screen and the other 6 - the screen freezes randomly. Also when this happens the on screen app buttons become unresponsive for a second or so.

I have tried using an app killer as i thought that might be the problem - too much crap running in the background but im still having the same issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks

Yep. I've also faced this problem especially while running lots of apps at the same time and the only thing that happens after these freezes is a dialog box showing two options of force close app or wait for it to respond. I'm waiting for the update 2.2.1 which I think might fix this.

well - iv got 2.2.1 on mine ive just checked in the software information - thinking about it iv only had this issue since i setup the email widget thing last night, but surely i shud be able to have that running without the screen stalling foa a second or 2 whilst moving between them??

thanks
