Screen freezing?

For the first 5 days I had it I had my phone I no problems, but over the last few days it's frozen twice. Just when I go to unlock it, sometimes the screen will get stuck and won't respond at all. None of the buttons do anything either. I have to pull the battery out to reset it. I'm new to Android, but I was pissed that my Blackberry used to always do this and I was hoping to get away from it. So far it's not a huge deal, but if it continues to happen and gets worse, I'd get really annoyed. Not trying to make a complaining thread, but I'm wondering if this is normal, if other people have had this happen, or if I should consider returning it.

What apps have you installed recently? Maybe you have a rouge app. try to recall what changes you made, or apps you loaded before the issue arose. If you dont mind goin through and setting up your preferences again, you could try a hard reset.
