Screen frozen

I have had the phone since last Friday with no real issues. I was charging it at home tonight and the screen completely froze. I cannot do anything (not even answer an incoming call). I have tried to pull the battery but that has not solved the problem (did this at least 3 times). Anyone with similar issues? Any solutions other than going to the Verizon store tomorrow? It's currently on wi-fi and getting signal (correct time and weather).

Pull the battery for at least one minute. While doing this hold the power button in for a few seconds after the battery is out.

Replace battery and boot up. If that doesn't work Google galaxy nexus hard reset. Good luck
