Help Screen goes Black when i call

Hey guys, i recently dropped my phone and the screen cracked, everything is good, but the only problem is that when i call/get calls after i have answered the screen automatically turns black, and if i want to end the call i can't, because the screen is black. Does anyone know how to fix this, or should i go to the professionals to get it working again.

Same thing happens to me, also dropped my phone and cracked the screen. But I think the black screen is unrelated cos it used to happen before I dropped it.
