I've had my HTC desire z for about 2/3 months.. About 3 weeks ago, it developed a problem. When I flip my phone out as to use my keyboard to reply to a text for instance, my screen goes black and cannot be used. If I close the keyboard and hold it upright as normal, it works perfectly fine. Even if im just browsing apps or through the phone, i cant open the keyboard part without the screen going black.
After 3 days of this, it just magically started working again so i never worried about it. Anyway, the issue has come back again in the past few days and its very irritating. Also the lights on the keyboard over the past few weeks haven't been working properly. Sometimes ill be in complete darkness and it wont light up, other times it will.
Is this a hardware or software issue? I'm pretty new to the HTC scene so any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
