Help Screen goes blank while making call

Screen goes blank whenever I make any call using Voip or when i receive call from callback option, which makes it difficult to dial option for IVR n even to disconnect the call.. i have recently reset my phone too..

Can you please help me in resolving this issue?

During a call, when you put the phone near your face, the proximity detector blanks the screen, so that you don't "cheek dial". If it's not unblanking when you remove the phone from your face, the most likely problem is a defective proximity sensor. It would have to be replaced.

Rukbat! I m not putting it near cheek.. as i know for call having ivr its no use to keep it near cheek before selecting final option.

What is this defective proximity sensor n how to get it replaced??
