Root screen grabber root issue

I have the app called Screen Grabber. I tried taking a few screenshots, It asked me if I wanted to grant the app root access, of course I hit "allow", but every time I tried to take a screenshot it said "failed to save to blah blah blah something about read only". I fixed the problem by going into settings, advanced I think, and un checking the box that says "require root access". Even though I'm rooted, and even though I granted the app root access, for some reason it only works if this box is unchecked.

Just thought I would share, in case anybody else has had troubles with screen grabber.

I used screengrabber when i wasn't rooted because it was the only one that worked well. What rom are you running right now? Im on eclipse which has a built in screen shot option when you hold down the power button, so do the ics roms.

I'm running Liberty. I think I've used eclipse before. I used one ROM that had the screenshot feature built in as you described it, but unfortunately it was the ONLY feature of the ROM. Other than that, it was like I wasn't even running a ROM. So I went back to Liberty, and downloaded screen grabber. Which works fine, as long as I have the silly box unchecked.

I wish ALL developers would take the time to include that feature like Eclipse did.

Are you on or .893 or .901 with liberty or something? I always wanted to try out liberty becuase i have it on my DX and like it a lot but I didn't think it supported .902. Also, have you checked in the rom settiongs to see if there's an option to enable a screenshot when holding down the power button?

I am on .902 and found the same problem you did. I found this on the interwebs

901 and liberty?

it's a liberty patch for .901. I tried it with my .902 bionic and it's worked great!

I didn't find anything in the settings regarding the screenshot feature.
