Help Screen imperfection

Lurker
I finally decided that I would get a smart phone a few days ago, so I ended up getting a new samsung s4 with Verizon from the Best Buy Mobile store. I love this phone, but there is this small black dot inside of the gorilla glass that is visible whether the screen is on or off, and I can't unsee this imperfection. Anyone else have this problem, and should it be a problem getting this replaced?

That definitely sounds like a defect, I'd for sure have it swapped out.

I think best buy has a grace period on swapping new devices if you didn't get the geek squad warranty.

That definitely sounds like a defect. I know these things can be annoying. I used to have a monitor that had one pixel permanently stuck on red. Every time I looked at the screen that was the first thing I saw. It was only one pixel out of more than a million but it really bugged me.

I would suggest you try to return it if you can.
