Help Screen keeps going blank during calls.

I just bought a Fascinate. During phone calls my screens keeps going to power saver mode (black screen) during phone calls even when there is a lot of light and I'm holding it away from my ear. It's annoying. I have to repeatedly press the power button when I enter long numbers like credit card or insurance info. Is there a reason why it's doing this?

I am newly experiencing this same issue. I installed screeble months ago which initially solved the problem. But recently the last few times I've made calls the screen goes blank. I re-installed screeble thinking that would help...no dice. Not sure what's going on but it is really frustrating!

Ahhh yes. Same here very annoying. Anyone have a solution please. Mine does it all the time.

Download ProximityScreenOff in market, select the Proximity Sensor in Settings, start service and my problem was solved. Battery Life reduces heavily though
