Help screen lock pattern lines not showing

the pattern doesnt show up when i try to unlock my phone only when i get it wrong it shows it for a second

motorola triumph
 
Did you go to
Settings/security/then check "make pattern visible"?

If you did then idk how you broke your phone :P
