Screen lock

Hi All:

Just received my 3rd factory replacement (this time for GPS issues). The kid in store did the set up on it so he could check all systems and transfer everything. My phone no longer has the swipe lock screen. How can I get it back? I've gone into the settings and set it for design and where I want the clock and notifications to display, but it won't activate. Any suggestions? I haven't been able to track this kid back down at the store.

is it there for a second before disappearing as the phone reboots or is it missing at the beginning of reboot too?

Not there at all. My friend has one as well & just had his factory replaced and he doesn't have a lock screen now either.

Just for the heck of it, try downloading no lock, it's a free app. Perhaps turning the lock screen off then on again may activate it.

OK found this on the T-mo site, someone said something about setting up the phone after a reset, screen lock not coming up if you don't complete the setup. Maybe try it as well: T-Mobile Support Community: Galaxy S2 Lock Screen Problems
