Help screen locking

hi everyone,

i bought a vibrant T mobile and am using it in Brazil. unlocked it with no problems (with SGS unlock) and upgraded to Froyo. (with mini kies)
however, by placing the unit for charging the battery, the screen just freeze. I can not use the phone.
disconnecting the charger, it works normally.
anyone have any idea what might be affecting? would be a case of a downgrade?

Hello dupandero, welcome to Android Forums.

Often, when we see this issue reported, it seems to resolve itself after a few reboots of the device.

Sometimes the charging cable needs to be replaced, though.

Given that everything is functioning as expected, I'd try shutting it down, wait a minute, then power back up. I'd repeat that a few times, then try charging again to see if the issue washed out.

If not, I'm thinking that the next step would be a factory data reset. In your post you said "..it doesn't work," by that did you mean the reset did not resolve the issue? Or did you mean that a reset could not be brought about?
