Help Screen Mode Widget Lite + Alarm clock + TB = fail

This is a bit obscure, but I ran into my first bug this morning with my new TBolt. Keep in mind that I am coming to the Tbolt from the Incredible and I am using essentially identical applications from one to the next.

I use Screen Mode Widget Lite (hereafter SMWL) to disable the screen lock, simply because I've never been a fan of sliding to unlock. YMMV.

I use the default Android alarm clock to wake up in the morning -- have been for a year or so now and it never fails me.

Today, I set my alarm for 6:00 a.m.... and woke up at 8:00 a.m. when my office called and said "where are you?" Oops. That was a minor catastrophe.

I played with it, and it turns out that the alarm works normally if the TBolt screen is lit. However, if the screen is off and SMWL is enabled in "no lock" mode, when the alarm goes off, it chimes for a brief moment, lights the screen, and then the alarm quickly shuts off and the screen immediately turns off. Not enough to wake me up! I suspected that this was somehow connected to SMWL, so I disabled it, and sure enough, the alarm works as it should.

This is likely an issue with SMWL's compatibility with the TBolt, as the alarm clock hasn't changed and the widget itself (to my knowledge) has not changed and I never had this issue on the Incredible. I'm guessing that SMWL doesn't play well with the new Sense and SMWL just needs an update.

I post it here, because it's (sort of) a TBolt-related bug, I think.

Anyway, long story short, the TBolt is great so far, but I gave up on explaining to my staff why I was an hour late for work this morning.

Anti-Lock works pretty good on the TB. You can use the volume rocker to unlock, though it beeps at you. :) I'll have to test it to make sure that there is no interference. Also, Alarm Clock Plus is a great little alarm clock.
