Screen Off+No Lock=hardly ever needing power button

If screen off were able to be permanently placed in the notification bar dropdown where I could always access it, sans the notification bar icon, I would be ALL OVER this app.

Would the Bar Control app work for you on this? It puts the apps you want in the notification bar.

But as it is, navigating out of whatever app or activity I am engaged in, in order to get back to the home screen to press an icon that is taking up my EXTREMELY valuable home-screen real-estate... I just can't go for it.

Just got the app tonight, and it works awesome, instead of having to switch how I'm holding my phone to shut off my screen I can just click the app button and boom its off which is so convenient especially if I'm walking.

Also it's good to see that you are on these forums and even taking feedback from us to better the app! My only suggestion has been stated which is to make it able to be put into the notification bar so I don't have to go to my home screen each time. Other than that slight suggestion great app!

Just bought it, seems to work alright. I already had no lock so this was just an ad-on. You think something so simple would be free, but I guess he can charge whatever he wants.

It's either charge .99 or go the ad route which would be difficult given what it does. I think the advertisers would be upset their ad is not showing.

Is there any way to wake the screen up with a touch on a screen? I have P970 Swift black which has only 3 physical buttons on the edges, waking its screen with a touch would be more comfortable than seeking buttons.

exactly! i dont have an issue with switching off functionality, i can reduce the idle to switch it off automatically. the real issue is turning the screen on/activate. something like long pressing the dead/black screen or using the light sensor etc.?
let meknow if there is an app which can do that.
