Help screen on during call

i would like to know if i can have my phone set to leave the screen on during calls. i still want the sensors turned on so that the screen turns off when i hold it to my face but when using speaker or Bluetooth, i would like the screen to stay on all the time.
i have Galaxy S3 with 4.2.2 & i use touchpal v5 as a dialer

The screen does stay on for me unless i put it to my head. Do you mean you dont want it to time out?

Just don't obstruct the sensors view of light and you'll be fine. Or navigate away from the phone screen's app while making a call.

thanks for your replies but this does not fix the problem. i almost always use bluetooth or speaker & never have anything near the sensors. the screen only stays on for 10 seconds. i have just uninstalled the touchpal dialer & will see what happens...

If you don't use the sensors, then the screen will become off after the time you have specified for screen off. Or you can manually make it off.
