Will there be a way/app to get the phone to switch on home screens?

There are already a few custom launchers out there that add this functionality plus a lot more. I'm using Nova Launcher and it's pretty good. Only thing is if you're not rooted you can't get widgets in the app drawer and have to add them the old way.
It's looks and feels stock though with a few minor changes.
