Screen Protection

Wondering what kind of screen protector you use.

I tried a Moshi Anti-Glare screen protector. I liked the quality and ease of application but it really degraded the brightness of the screen.

I have a Ringko screen protector on it now. It looked great for about a week but then got covered in tiny scratches from the s-pen.

Any ideas?

The good old fashioned Zagg one works and doesn't inter-fear with the S-Pen. It's not what everyone likes, but they're as tough as always.

I broke down and got a zagg from local AT&T store. I was going to get the Spigen glas-t, but reports of it being curved at the edges/sides had me concerned. Decided to just go "film", but forgot that the zagg is "gummy" (just installed 4hrs. ago). I thought it would be a problem with the S-pen, but the softness of the zagg makes it feel like writing on paper...just have to hold the pen at an angle. I think my writing is actually neater now.

I broke down and got the glas-t. So far, it's still holding up. I'll have to see as the months go if I'll experience problems other users have noted (adhesive not sticking, chipped corners, etc). But it's great for now. No complaints about it even with the little scratch I put on it. Though one has to be more cautious about its application (you only have one shot at getting it right).

I've paired this with the Otterbox Commuter case. It does cover and protect most of the edges of the glas-t. The only corner really exposed by a very small fraction is the bottom right corner. I guess I'll have to make sure I don't chip that small area.

Previous to this, I had the boxwave ultra clear protector. It was okay, but needed the screen to be constantly cleaned. I also managed to scratch it pretty quickly. It also gave the 'rainbow' effect.

Quick update, zagg has "settled/cured" after 2 days, and is not "as soft/gummy" as when first applied. It's a little easier using s-pen, but still grippy enough to add resistance when writing...almost like having force-feedback on a steering wheel for a video game. Writing samples are neater than they have ever been, with or without a screen protector.
